`We place design at the heart of growth and renewal in Britain.
As CABE and the Design Council come together, we’re well placed to give a strong voice to architecture and design. Our aim is to promote design and architecture for the public good.`
The Design Council is a charity incorporated by Royal Charter and now includes CABE. Our funding comes from various sources including the Departments for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
The Design Council started life in 1944 as the Council of Industrial Design. Over more than 60 years Britain has seen massive social, economic and technological change. We've changed too, though we've always fought to make design central to Britain's well being.
Design council has different section and areas as a designer and organization can benefit of it.
Helps you setting up your business, giving advice and mentoring on what is best. Design Council  Offers grant for organization to motivated new ideas to continue to be put out there.
